Stigma And Coming Out

Here is an excellent study that presents some excellent discussion and information. In the first few paragraphs it made me feel it was talking about me – about how people understood they had BDSM tendencies often before 15 years of age. It sure did for me.

Then the article talked about the stigma and its management.

Over the decades, this has been a central issue to me; should I tell my wife about my BDSM needs? If I do, will she underdstand? What will happen?

If you want definite advice, then I cannot give it. And I don’t want to. Your situation will be different to mine so any information based on my situation won’t apply.
